Job Overview

Spirent Federal is looking for an exceptional sales professional to drive solution sales in the Eastern United States. Be part of a highly successful, influential, and exciting team!

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts in the Eastern region of the United States, including developing a strategy and execution steps to achieve growth.
  • Navigate complex sales processes and drive solution sales for Positioning, Navigation, and Timing test solutions.
  • Create a plan identifying key goals and strategies to drive business and exceed quotas.
  • Develop new customer and ecosystem relationships to expand Spirent Federal’s market share.
  • Understand complex customer requirements on a business level to engage and educate, while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the contract engagement.
  • Identify and develop sales leads.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing Team and Product Development Team to generate sales opportunities.

  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends. Effectively present Spirent Federal solutions and maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge.
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities on a monthly and quarterly cadence.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the technology industry, test & measurement space and Federal sales preferred.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota.
  • Great understanding of the lead generation and pipeline-building activities.
  • Comfortable being an active participant in highly technical discussions and able to collaboratively work with internal personnel to ensure that customer objectives are achieved.
  • Previous experience selling hardware and/or software is required.
  • Excellent listening, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Self-motivated and willing to accept challenges.
  • Strong interest in problem-solving and driving innovative solutions.
  • Ability to travel (approximately 50%).
Clearance
  • US citizen with Secret or Top Secret Clearance. Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain one and maintain it at all times during employment.

Annualized Salary Wage Range: $192,000 – $312,000

Spirent Federal applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
